Shipping and delivery
Below you will find the conditions that determine our shipping policy for every purchase at Scheepsstudio (Scheepsklokkenwinkel.nl, Shipsclockshop.com, Scheepsservieswinkel.nl). The detailed information can also be found under the General Terms and Conditions in this footer.
Shipment processing time
• All orders placed before 2:00 PM will be processed within 1-2 business days.
• We place the order immediately after receiving your payment via Ideal, PayPal, credit card or transfer to our bank account number.
• If in stock, products are usually offered to you within 3 working days in the Netherlands, 5 days in Europe and 5-10 days outside Europe (depending on delivery address) by one of the carriers we work with; DHL, PostNL, DPD, Fedex or UPS.
• If we do not have it in stock, the delivery time may vary. We will inform you at all times of the expected delivery time.
• If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you by email or telephone.
• When demand for an item is high, the product may be temporarily out of stock and a “backorder” may arise. We will inform you of this in a timely manner. In this case, you have the option to cancel the order within 14 days and we will refund the full order amount.
• A number of brands/products are manually assembled to order. You will also be informed of this, as well as the expected delivery time, which usually takes place 7-14 days after payment.
• Scheepsstudio will always strive to ship your products from the nearest point possible, so that the ordered goods do not have to travel around the world three times. We select products that are long lasting, sturdy and can withstand transportation and wear and tear under reasonable conditions.
• If it concerns an urgent delivery, you can indicate this to us and we will then discuss the earliest possible delivery time with you, as well as the additional costs this entails.
Shipping / carrier
• Orders are generally not delivered on weekends (with the exception of home addresses) or public holidays.
• If we experience high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by several days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.
• Shipping costs for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
• The products you order will be delivered via the carrier to the address you specified. The delivery times of the relevant carrier apply.
• This means that in most cases orders are delivered during the day.
• If you are not at home/at the address you provided, you will find a form in your mailbox indicating the nearest collection point where the package can be collected. Or the carrier will indicate whether it will be offered a second time at the address you specified.
Shipping confirmation & Order tracking
• You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has shipped, which will include your tracking number(s).
• The tracking number will become active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
• Scheepsstudio is not responsible for any customs fees and taxes applied to your order, unless we have agreed otherwise with you in advance.
• Any charges imposed during or after shipment are the customer's responsibility (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
• Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Delivery costs up to 20 kilos
• The costs of shipping within the Netherlands are 7.95 euros.
• The costs for shipping outside the Netherlands, but within Europe, are 15 euros.
• The costs for shipping outside Europe are 25 euros.
Prices
All prices mentioned on this website include 21% VAT for customers in the Netherlands and within Europe. For outside Europe they are shown excluding VAT and any import costs are borne by the customer. We can send a quote for business customers. Please contact info@scheepsstudio.nl.
