The Bracket Mount Pelorus, also known as the Shoe Mount Pelorus, includes a deck shoe that can be securely affixed with two screws to any desired location for easy bearing taking. The pelorus can be swiftly removed from its storage box and mounted onto the shoe when needed. After use, it can be either returned to its box for safekeeping or left out for subsequent use.

What is a pelorus:

A pelorus looks and works like a compass, complete with sighting vanes or a sighting telescope. However, unlike a compass, it doesn't have magnets or its own direction. Instead, it stays fixed in whichever direction it's set, offering straightforward orientation without magnetic influence.
